1 October Memorial Committee Meeting

The Clark County Commission appointed the 1 October Memorial Committee to gather input from the public and develop recommendations for a permanent memorial to remember those who perished in the events of the Route 91 tragedy, to honor the many heroes who inspired the nation with their bravery and all those whose lives were changed forever, and to celebrate the resiliency and compassion of our community.

About the Meetings

Anyone impacted by 1 October is invited to participate in the process of developing a 1 October memorial whether you live in the Las Vegas Valley or outside our community. Committee meetings are held at 9 a.m. PT on the fourth Wednesday of each month in County Commission Chambers at the Clark County Government Center. Meetings are carried live on Clark County Television (CCTV), online at www.youtube.com/user/ClarkCountyNV/live, or on the committee’s Facebook page (@1OctoberMemorial).

Meeting Agendas

Agendas are posted one week prior to the meeting day. Anyone not able to attend the meeting but wishing to offer public comment on a particular agenda item may submit comments in writing by 3 p.m. PT two days prior to the meeting date. All meetings are recorded for on-demand replay on Clark County’s YouTube page and for posting on the committee’s webpage.
