Sleep Hygiene: The Secret Weapon for Better Mental & Physical Wellbeing
In this workshop, you will learn the latest science about sleep and how poor sleep is connected to many negative outcomes. Dr. Trudy Gilbert-Eliot, PhD, LMFT, LADC, will explain ways to optimize your sleep along with additional skills to deal with nightmares, anxiety, and stress. Options for tracking your sleep will be provided.
Dr. Gilbert-Eliot has been a Crisis Intervention Responder in Nevada through the Crisis Care Network from 2010 to present. Dr. Gilbert-Eliot is the author of Healing Secondary Trauma: Proven Strategies for Caregivers and Professionals to Manage Stress, Anxiety, and Compassion Fatigue. She is also a presenter/adjunct professor for the Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT)-University of Nevada, Reno.
